A Team Staffing, Southern California's locally-based staffing firm specializing in the title, escrow, mortgage and real estate industries, has an immediate opportunity for a Property Management Accounting Specialist, for a well established commercial property management company in Newport Beach, CA

The Accounting Specialist will provide support to the Staff Accountant and be responsible for a variety of routine and non-routine clerical accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures in general accounting, A/R, A/P Bank Reconciliations, and management reporting.

Specific duties will include:

• Daily Banking and reconciliation of accounts
• Preparing tenant invoices for monthly charges
• Receiving monies, posting to general ledger and preparing management reporting
• Performing bank reconciliations of deposits and disbursements, balancing of accounts
• Processing accounts payable, coding and posting property expenses, preparing vendor payments
• Preparing of monthly reporting for the Staff Accountant

• 2-5 years of accounting experience including accounts receivable and bank reconciliation in a busy, high volume accounting department required
• Strong computer skills: Excel proficiency:Vlookup, Pivot Tables, Formulas, Formatting
• Knowledge of Yardi Voyager property management accounting
• Commercial property management accounting experience preferred
• HS Diploma required. AA or BA in Accounting preferred
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills
• Good attention to detail and accuracy and efficiency when performing data entry tasks
