A Team Staffing, Southern California's locally-based staffing firm specializing in the title, escrow, mortgage and real estate industries, has an immediate opportunity for an Accounting Coordinator in a busy corporate real estate office in Los Angeles.

The Accounting Coordinator will provide support to the controller and be responsible for A/P, A/R, Bank Reconciliations, and disbursements related to real estate closings.

Specific duties will include:

  • Reviewing and auditing real estate files for disbursement of funds at closing
  • Receiving monies and preparing disbursements for commissions and payments from closing funds
  • Handling accounts payable including coding, data entry, and disbursement of authorized invoices and check requests
  • Performing bank reconciliations and balancing of accounts
  • Preparing monthly reporting for the Controller
  • 2-5 years of accounts payable, accounts receivable and bank reconciliation experience in a busy, high volume accounting department required
  • Real estate or related closing experience preferred
  • HS Diploma required. AA or BA in Accounting preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including intermediate knowledge of Excel, required.
  • Knowledge of AS400 accounting software, or related programs desired
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Good attention to detail and accuracy and efficiency when performing data entry tasks
  • Meets deadlines and commitments
